Lecturer turns labourer in Kwara over salary nonpayment [photo]

*Kwara State Lecturers are facing hardship*

A Lecturer in Kwara state College of Education, Oro, Mr Kayode Odeyemi has appealed to the Kwara state government to pay workers salary. 

Mr Odeyemi and his contemporaries are being owed over 6 months’ salaries.

He uploaded his picture while working as labourer in a building to earn N1500 to cater for his family. 

Mr Kayode lamented the hardship many lecturers are currently going through as a result of the nonpayment of salaries. 

He wrote that, he has no option than to do what must be done to keep the body and soul together.
