Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has made a rare public remark about his relationship with reality TV star Kim Kardashian, hinting that she has played a role in his improved mood this racing season.
The Ferrari driver spoke during a fan event at Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix, where broadcaster David Croft observed that Hamilton appeared noticeably happier both on and off the track.
When a fellow driver jokingly asked whether his upbeat attitude was due to a faster car or a new girlfriend, Hamilton smiled and responded, “Yeah, that’s a good one.”
Moments later, after praising Ferrari for their warm reception in his debut season with the team, Hamilton drew loud cheers from the crowd when he added, “And of course, of course, it’s Kim.”
The statement is widely seen as one of Hamilton’s clearest acknowledgements yet of his rumoured relationship with Kardashian. The pair have been linked since February, with speculation intensifying after she attended the Monaco Grand Prix in May.
Hamilton also expressed appreciation for Kardashian’s support, noting that she encourages him daily. Known for keeping his personal life private, the British driver’s latest comments have further fuelled speculation that the relationship is becoming more serious.
