A Nigerian man has reportedly been arrested after allegedly ordering drinks worth nearly ₦9 million at a nightclub and fleeing without settling the bill.
According to reports circulating on social media, the suspect had reserved a table at the club, where he proceeded to order premium drinks, including high-end brands such as Martell and Clase Azul Tequila, for himself and other guests at the venue.
Witnesses claim the man also sprayed cash on women throughout the night, creating the impression that he had the financial capacity to cover the expenses. However, when it was time to pay, he allegedly fled the scene, leaving behind a bill estimated to be close to ₦10 million.
The incident reportedly caused a stir at the nightclub, prompting efforts by the management to track down the individual. He was later apprehended, although details surrounding his arrest and potential charges remain unclear at the time of filing this report.
