The Anambra State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, Ikukuoma Ndigbo, held a media parley with journalists in Awka, the state capital, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

During the media chat held at Radisson Onyx Hotel in Awka, the state capital, Prince Ukachukwu took several political jabs at the incumbent governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

Ukachukwu regretted the extent of perceived dilapidation of infrastructures in the state.

He lamented that the state government created various agencies championed by thugs and hooligans that made life miserable for Anambra residents.

Some of the thugs he mentioned included the Agunaechemba Vigilante Group and the pestle-wielding thugs.

He also complained about the failure of the state governments, past and present, to establish infrastructures that will be people-friendly.

Ukachukwu assured Anambra residents that, as a local, born and bred locally, with his business situated in and around Anambra, his government, if and when elected, will focus on building people-oriented structures.

He also pledged to make wealth and job creation a priority.
