(DDM) – Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate, Chief Dr George Moghalu (Ohamadike), has emphasized that no state can achieve prosperity or economic growth without ensuring the safety of its people.

According to Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), Moghalu made the statement on his verified X handle while addressing his supporters ahead of the November 8 Anambra governorship election.

He wrote: “There is no prosperity and economic progress in an unsecured environment. Vote for LP, tell everyone to choose progress. Anambra ga adi mma ozo.”

Moghalu’s message underscores his long-standing campaign focus on peace, safety, and stability as the foundation for economic and social development.

He has consistently stated that a secure Anambra would attract investors, create jobs, and encourage local businesses to thrive, key components of his blueprint for a productive and progressive state.

The LP candidate’s emphasis on security also reflects growing concerns among residents over the spate of violence, kidnapping, and criminal attacks that have disrupted parts of the state in recent years.

His campaign has urged citizens not just to hope for change but to vote for it, reminding everyone that real progress begins with active participation in the democratic process.
