A young woman has taken to social media to lament that her best friend who discouraged her last year has settled down with a man and has even had a baby this year.
The X user, identified as Benita, said her boyfriend had proposed to her but when she mentioned it to her friend, she discouraged her, saying, “You no wan enjoy your single life abi?”
She rejected the proposal and remained single.
A year later, the friend who advised her against getting married is now married with a child.
