UYO, Nigeria — The Nigerian Navy has rescued three passengers following a pirate attack along the waterways in Akwa Ibom State, reinforcing its commitment to protecting lives and strengthening maritime security across the country’s coastal and inland waterways.
The rescue operation was carried out after naval personnel received a distress alert about pirates attacking a passenger boat in the area.
