Ndume blasts Tinubu’s administration, labels officials as ‘kleptocrats’

The lawmaker representing Borno South at the national assembly, Senator Ali Ndume, has strongly criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration, labeling it as being dominated by “kleptocrats” who exploit national resources for personal gain.
Ndume expressed frustration over the state of governance under Tinubu’s leadership during an interview on Arise TV.
He accused Tinubu’s government of being controlled by corrupt leaders.
He stated that the government lacks individuals who can stand up to the President and tell him the truth.
‘’You do not form your government with dependants. Worse of it is that the President is a kingmaker and so when a kingmaker becomes a king, then there is a problem which he must identify himself so that he can have people that will stand up to him and tell him the truth. This is now what is lacking in this government.
“The government of Tinubu is dominated by ‘khakitocrats’ and kleptocrats.”
Senator Ndume also took a swipe at presidential spokesman, Chief Bayo Onanuga, who once described him as a ‘’frustrated lone wolf” who consistently criticizes the Tinubu government, Ndume said;
‘’I do not want to mind Bayo Onanuga. He is a domestic staff to the President. I am a Senator, four times. How dare he calls me that? I am not frustrated? Why will I be frustrated? I contested to be a Senator. I won four times,. Two times in the House of Representatives. Where will the frustration come from? I am a son of nobody who became somebody without knowing anybody. Ask the President, I am not one of his dependents. I am his ally”, Ndume said.
Ndume highlighted his independence, stating he became successful without knowing anyone.
