
The National Emergency Management Agency [NEMA ] has presented drugs and medical consumables to Hospitals treating victims of Wednesday (18/11/15) market bomb blast in Kano.


At least 19 persons lost their lives while 123 people were injured; those with minor injuries were treated and discharged.

About 53 persons are still receiving treatment at AKTH, Murtala Muhammad Specialists Hospital and Nasarawa Hospital.

Presenting the items, Director Search and Rescue Air commodore Charles Otegbade said majority of the injuries were as a result of stampede when the bomb exploded. He thanked to all that donated blood for saving the lives of the victims.
