Niger Delta Avengers bounces back after website shutdown

Barely hours after the acclaimed shutdown of the official website of Niger Delta Avengers, the militants have bounced back.

A new website has been up and running for the group as they claim they were never shut down.

The militancy group took to their tweeter handle @NDAvengers  and stated: “Like I said we were never shut down”

Barely one hour later, they posted again: “Our website is not shut down; it’s undergoing maintenance.”

Elombah.com verified the website and discovered that the old website must have been shut as there is a slight difference in the address of the new website.

Meanwhile, Spokesperson of the group, Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, on Saturday sent a consolation message to brothers in the struggle.

On Thursday, at about 3:30am Niger Delta Avengers strike team blew up the Brass to Tebidaba Crude oil line in Bayelsa.

Also on same night, at 3:00 am the Avengers blew up the SPDC forcados 48″ Exportline.

That was after warning SPDC not to go ahead with repair works; a warning they obviously ignored.

The group, however, denied any attack on military houseboat, an attack that claimed the lives of two soldiers.

They said: “We didn’t attack any Military houseboat.”
