President Bola Tinubu says Nigeria has passed its toughest phase, with better days ahead.
Speaking on Monday while hosting state governors, deputy governors and senior government officials to a Ramadan Iftar at the State House in Abuja, Tinubu noted unity, tolerance, and inclusive governance as key to national progress.
Tinubu expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness another Ramadan, noting that this year’s Muslim fasting period coincides with the Christian Lenten season — a rare occurrence he described as symbolic of unity, discipline, sacrifice, faith, and resilience.
While urging governors to foster harmony and inclusive leadership, the president encouraged them to create space for younger generations to thrive.
He commended the progress recorded across various states and praised the governors for their efforts in driving development.
Addressing concerns over economic hardship, Tinubu reassured Nigerians that the country is steadily overcoming its challenges.
“We are out of the dark tunnel of uncertainty. The best is yet to come for Nigeria,” he said, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to improved security and grassroots development.
