In the spirit of the Valentine season and the growing call for greater recognition of our national heroes, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in collaboration with the National Troupe of Nigeria (NTN) will use the 2016 edition of NOA’s “Do the Right Thing: Fall in Love with Nigeria” Patriotism Concert to celebrate Nigeria’s fallen heroes and fighting soldiers.

This was disclosed by the NOA Director General, Mr. Mike Omeri in a statement released by NOA preparatory to the annual concert which coincides with the annual Valentine’s Day celebration.

Omeri said this year’s concert, with the theme “Salute to Our Fallen Heroes; Songs to Our Fighting Forces”, is intended to restore confidence in our unity as a people and raise positive narrative about the country to a position of dominance in national discussions.

According to the statement, the Honourable Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed is expected as Special Guest of Honour in this year’s edition of the concert to be held at the Unity Square, Abuja featuring a dance presentation by the NTN.
