Nollywood Actor Zack Orji Undergoes Brain Surgery: Minister Musawa Visits and Conveys Government’s Support

In a recent update on the health condition of renowned Nollywood actor Zack Orji, Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, disclosed that the ailing actor has undergone brain surgery at a private hospital. The surgery took place after Zack Orji was transferred from the National Hospital to the private facility.

Minister Musawa shared this information following her visit to the veteran actor at the private hospital in Abuja on Tuesday. During the visit, she was received by Zack Orji’s wife, Ngozi Orji, and other family members. The purpose of the visit was to express support for the actor, wish him a speedy recovery, and convey the Federal Government’s goodwill to him and his family.

Zack Orji, a stalwart in the Nigerian film industry, has contributed significantly to Nollywood, entertaining audiences for decades. Minister Musawa acknowledged his foundational role in the film industry and emphasized the importance of providing necessary support during challenging times, especially considering the delicate nature of neurosurgery.

In her statement, Minister Musawa highlighted the significance of the visit, not only as a minister of arts, culture, and the creative economy but also as a gesture of solidarity from the Nigerian government. She urged Nigerians to pray for Zack Orji.
