Nollywood artistes have continued to pour tributes on Charles Okafor, popular Nollywood Actor, who passed on early this evening.

The artistes who took to their social media handles began what in the days ahead will snowball into groundswell of elegy saluting the fallen actor.

According to Mercy Johnson Okojie, mercurial actress, its a time for Mr Ibu, as Okafor was knwn to rest.

“It is well… Rest well sir…” she said.

Ruth Kadiri wrote, “Sleep well Papa.”

The late comic actor has been quite unwell lately, and had undergone surgery.
The treatment which took him abroad led to amputation of one of his legs. The amputation became necessary because of an infection of the arteries at the ankle that was not detected early enough.
It is still yet a developing story and efforts are still on to get family sources to comment on it.
