The Obidient Harmonisation Forum (OHF) has reaffirmed its commitment to reshaping Nigeria’s political landscape.

Diaspora digital media (DDM) gathered that the group held a crucial workshop in Abuja to strategize for future political engagements and mass mobilization.

The event took place at Pelmac Apartment Suites in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on February 15, 2025.

Hon. Joseph Enan Maigari, the National Chairman of OHF, delivered a powerful speech to party leaders and state chairmen.

He emphasized the movement’s dedication to justice, equity, and a progressive Nigeria.

The workshop theme was “Strengthening Political Movement in Nigeria: Strategies for Effective Organization and Mass Mobilization.”

According to Maigari, the event marked a defining moment in the movement’s journey.

He stressed that unity, strategic planning, and nationwide mobilization would be key to achieving political transformation.

The forum reaffirmed its unwavering support for Peter Obi, a figurehead of the Obidient Movement.

Maigari praised Obi’s leadership, transparency, and vision for a better Nigeria.

He assured that the movement would continue spreading Obi’s message to every corner of the country.

The OHF also pledged loyalty to Dr. Tanko Yunusa, the global leader of the Obidient Movement.

Maigari acknowledged Yunusa’s role in strengthening and coordinating the movement across Nigeria.

Under Yunusa’s guidance, the movement has expanded its influence and impact nationwide.

The gathering focused on key principles needed to rebuild Nigeria’s political system.

These principles, known as the “5Cs for a New Nigeria,” include competence, character, capacity, credibility, and compassion.

Maigari used Singapore’s transformation as an example of how competent leadership can drive national development.

He stated that Nigeria must adopt visionary policies and disciplined execution to achieve similar success.

The speech highlighted how Singapore’s leaders prioritized national interest over personal gain.

Maigari cited Lee Kuan Yew’s integrity as a model for Nigerian politicians to follow.

He stressed that only leaders with strong character could eradicate corruption and restore trust in governance.

The discussion also emphasized the importance of capacity in political leadership.

He noted that effective leaders must be able to handle complex economic, political, and social issues.

Singapore’s rapid industrialization and infrastructure development were credited to leaders with strategic vision.

Maigari argued that Nigeria needs leaders with the capacity to make bold and informed decisions.

Credibility was identified as another pillar of successful governance.

He insisted that citizens must trust their leaders for Nigeria to progress.

The forum urged Nigerians to elect credible leaders who prioritize national interest over personal wealth.

Compassion was also recognized as a key ingredient for leadership.

Maigari highlighted Singapore’s investment in education, healthcare, and housing as examples of people-centered governance.

He insisted that Nigerian leaders must prioritize policies that improve citizens’ quality of life.

The OHF called for mass political awareness and active participation in elections.

Maigari encouraged the movement’s leaders to embody the “5Cs” in their mobilization efforts.

He urged them to remain steadfast despite challenges and obstacles ahead.

The movement’s strategy involves better coordination and strong grassroots organization.

Participants were advised to take ownership of the political process and ensure genuine leadership emerges.

Maigari reminded the audience that history is shaped by those who take bold actions.
