AKURE, NIGERIA — Leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State have confidently declared President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 as non-negotiable, vowing to deliver overwhelming support from the South-West state to ensure his victory.
The declaration was made during a high-level meeting of party stakeholders in Akure on Monday, where APC chieftains from the 18 local government areas of the state pledged their unwavering loyalty to the president and his administration. The leaders described Tinubu’s re-election bid as a project that must succeed for the continued progress and stability of the nation.
Speaking on behalf of the Ondo APC leadership, a prominent party figure emphasized that the state’s support for Tinubu was not merely a political calculation but a deep-seated conviction rooted in the president’s achievements and vision for Nigeria. “We have seen what President Tinubu has done for this country in just over three years. From economic reforms to infrastructure development, his administration has laid a solid foundation for lasting prosperity,” he stated.
The Ondo APC leaders dismissed any suggestion that the president might face a serious challenge in the state during the 2027 elections, pointing to the party’s strong grassroots structure and the governor’s performance as key factors that would guarantee victory.
