A magistrate court sitting in Plateau State, has granted bail to Noah Kekere, a quack doctor accused of organ harvesting in the state.
Mr Kekere had been in custody since his arrest by the police in September.
This medium gathered that at the expiration of the remand request, lawyers approached the court, seeking an administrative bail.
It was also gathered that the state ministry of justice was yet to file charges against the suspect.
Although Mr Kekere’s case was not listed on the case list for Tuesday’s court sessions, the presiding judge, Chief Magistrate D. Chollom, however heard the bail application and granted him a bail.
The conditions for the bail included two sureties one of whom must present a Certificate of Occupancy, and another who must be a traditional ruler in the state.
The suspect has since fulfilled the conditions.
