*As Dino Melaye threaten to beat Tinubu
There was a commotion at the executive session of Senate on Tuesday over threat to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari over ongoing forgery trial against Senate leadership.
Amidst the commotion, Senator Dino Melaye threatened to beat up Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
The trouble started when Dino asked those that took the matter to court to withdraw the matter or else be suspended.
Senator Tinubu, however, quickly kicked against the request.
Infuriated by Tinubu’s comment, Senator Dino threatened to beat Senator Tinubu at the closed door session meeting.
Melaye flew into rage, calling her names.
“I will beat you up on this floor and nothing will happen,” he threatened.
During the meeting the former Senate President, David Mark calmed the nerves of angry senators.
He further warned the lawmakers on the implication of instituting impeachment move against Buhari on Senate’s image.
