He urged party members, both old and new, to remain focused on delivering effective governance and to mobilize support at the senatorial district level, ensuring a unified front for the upcoming elections.
Obi stated that the ADC platform provides the structure, discipline, and strategic alignment necessary to transform Nigeria’s political landscape and tackle challenges of corruption, inefficiency, and weak governance.
He highlighted the importance of grassroots engagement, stressing that members should obtain their party cards at their respective wards and actively recruit new supporters, reinforcing the party’s presence across the country.
Abarib, along with other LP leaders who joined ADC, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Obi’s vision of a transparent, accountable, and people-centered government.
The conference served as a platform to outline strategic plans for the South East region, emphasizing unity, effective communication, and coordinated mobilization to strengthen ADC’s influence in key states.
Party leaders underscored that the alignment of such high-profile figures reflects widespread confidence in Obi’s leadership and the credibility he brings to the party.
Hon. Prince Kingsley Acharabagu, ADC Chairman for Enugu North Senatorial District, called on members to prepare diligently for upcoming rallies and political engagements.
He encouraged citizens seeking change from poor governance to seize the opportunity by joining ADC and contributing actively to its vision.
The conference concluded with a pledge from both veteran and new members to uphold ADC’s core principles of integrity, service, and inclusive leadership, ensuring that the party remains a credible alternative to entrenched political structures.
Political analysts observing the development noted that Obi’s move to ADC could significantly reshape the dynamics of the 2027 elections, positioning the party as a formidable force capable of challenging established political hierarchies.
DDM reported that the event reflected a growing momentum for Obi’s political strategy, signaling a shift towards structured, values-driven politics in Nigeria.
