PHOTOS: 2 corps members escape death in Aba during hot chase by police

Two members of the National Youth Service Corps, have been fatally injured after some unidentified police operatives allegedly rammed their operational van against the back bumper of the camry car they were travelling with during a hot chase which however, resulted to a brutal crash.

The unfortunate incident occured at Enugu Port-Harcourt Expressway, Osisioma Aba, the economic hub of Abia State. Though, the identities of the corps members remain unknown at the time of filing this report.

In a viral video sighted by NewsBand Newspaper, the corps members were seen being pulled out from the debris of their vehicle which was damaged beyond repair.

Meanwhile, an eyewitness who spoke with NewsBand said that the police officers immediately left the scene of the crash after noticing what they did.

The eyewitness said, “This is the dastardly result of Police officers car chase of two NYSC members at Enugu Port-Harcourt expressway, Osisioma Abia State.

“The two NYSC occupants of the Black Toyota Camry sustained serious injuries. The police deliberately rammed their Toyota Hilux against the back bumper of the Camry during the pursuit.

“As usual, they left the scene immediately. Honestly, there is nothing good about Nigeria, absolutely nothing.”
