A source, an investigative journalist and private investigator, has accused officers of the Nigerian Army at a military checkpoint of killing a driver, Yusuf Lawali, and stealing a brand new 2022 Toyota Corolla pictured below.

According to the source, who operates a Twitter handle, @PIDOMNIGERIA, Lawali was on his way to Abuja from Lagos, to deliver the Toyota Corolla when he was stopped by the army officers.
He said that they killed him, dumped his body in the bush, and stole the car.
“They took Yusuf Lawali to Iyana Ipaja, around tollgate area, killed him, and dumped his body in the bush,” he narrated.
The source, meanwhile, lamented that the Nigerian Army are trying to cover up the case as they are yet to release the murderous soldiers.

He stated: “The problem right now is the Nigerian Army, trying to cover up the case. They are yet to release those soldiers who killed Yusuf Lawali to the police.”
