The National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has hosted key opposition figures at his residence in Kano during Sallah celebrations.
Those in attendance included former presidential candidate Peter Obi, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, and former Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson.
Kwankwaso shared photos of the gathering on social media, describing it as a joyful Sallah celebration and extending goodwill wishes to Nigerians.
The meeting comes amid growing speculation about possible opposition alliances ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Kwankwaso had earlier held a private meeting with Governor Makinde in Ibadan, further fuelling discussions around potential political realignments.
