PHOTOS: Nnamdi Kanu rearraigned in court with his face covered, remanded

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and rearraigned with his face covered before a Federal High Court in Abuja.

ElombahNews earlier reported that the IPOB leader was rearrested in an undisclosed location and extradited to Nigeria.

The presiding judge, Justice Binta Nyako ordered Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be remanded in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).

He will be detained until July 26, 2021, for continuation of his trial following an ex-parte application brought by the prosecuting counsel, S. M. Labaran.
