Iconic music star, Onyeka Onwenu has been been laid to rest in Lagos State.
The funeral service which was held at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, drew a large crowd of mourners
Onwenu, who died on July 30, 2024, at the age of 72, was buried at a private vault in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Prominent figures including former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi and Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti were present to bid her final goodbye.
The mood and atmosphere was somber as she was laid to rest.
