“VERYDARKMAN IS ABOUT TO SPONSOR ME, BUT…” — NIGERIAN INVENTOR EMEKA VICTOR ALI REVEALS HIS STRUGGLES | DDM INTERVIEW In this revealing episode of DDM TV Interview, Nigerian inventor Emeka Victor Ali, who went viral after showcasing his innovative electricity wireless changeover system, opens up about his journey, the challenges he has faced, his educational background, his ambition for Nigeria, and the proposed sponsorship from popular Nigerian social media activist Verydarkman (VDM). Emeka Victor Ali is attracting attention for his invention, a wireless changeover system designed to allow users to switch between public electricity supply and generator power using a mobile phone, without manually operating the traditional changeover switch. The innovation offers a potentially convenient solution for homes, businesses and other electricity users, particularly in a country where many households depend on generators because of unreliable public power supply. Speaking on DDM Interview, Emeka made a striking revelation about the support he has received, declaring that, apart from Verydarkman, nobody else has shown the kind of interest he hoped for in his innovation. According to him, Verydarkman is the person who is about to sponsor him, but the proposed sponsorship has not yet started because he has not completed his secondary school education. “I worked on it seven times within a space of five months!” The young inventor revealed that developing the wireless changeover system was not an easy journey. He explained that he worked on the invention seven times over five months before successfully achieving his goal. Rather than abandon the project when earlier attempts failed, he kept experimenting, making adjustments and working towards a solution he believed could make a difference. Emeka also disclosed that he endured sleepless nights while carrying out practical experiments before finally producing the version that worked successfully and showcasing it to the public. But what makes his story even more remarkable is his educational background. Emeka revealed that he stopped attending school at Senior Secondary School Two (SS2), but insisted that his educational setback did not destroy his passion for innovation or prevent him from pursuing his dreams. FROM PRIMARY 6 TO BUILDING TECHNOLOGY According to Emeka, his passion for technology began as far back as Primary 6. His parents noticed his interest in building things and enrolled him at Government Technical College, Nkpor, in Anambra State, where he gained additional technical knowledge. However, he explained that formal technical education was not the sole source of his creativity. He said his passion for innovation had already been evident from childhood, when he experimented with constructing aircraft, small vehicles, electric motors and other creative projects. His journey demonstrates the importance of curiosity, practical experimentation, determination and the desire to solve everyday problems. It also raises questions about how Nigeria identifies, nurtures and supports talented young people who develop practical solutions outside conventional academic pathways. HOW THE WIRELESS CHANGEOVER IDEA STARTED Emeka explained that the idea came to him when he observed the traditional changeover system in his home. He began imagining what it would be like if someone could operate the switch using a mobile phone instead of physically moving the handle. That simple question eventually inspired him to begin developing the wireless changeover system. After months of experimentation, repeated attempts and sleepless nights, he finally achieved a successful result and presented the invention to the world. #DDMTV #DDMInterview #DDM #EmekaVictorAli #Verydarkman #VDM #NigerianInventor #YoungInventor #NigerianInnovation #WirelessChangeover #WirelessChangeoverSystem #GeneratorChangeover #SmartTechnology #ElectricalInnovation #Technology #Innovation #MadeInNigeria #NigerianTechnology #AfricanInnovation #AfricanInventors #HomegrownInnovation #TechInNigeria #TechnologyInAfrica #Engineering #ElectricalEngineering #SmartHome #Generator #PowerSupply #ElectricityInNigeria #PowerSolutions #AlternativePower #PowerTechnology #Entrepreneurship #YoungEntrepreneurs #Inventors #Invention #InnovationForAfrica #SupportLocalInnovators #SupportNigerianInventors #MadeInAfrica #NigerianYouth #YouthEmpowerment #TechnicalEducation #GovernmentTechnicalCollege #AnambraState #Nkpor #Nigeria #NigeriaNews #TrendingNews #ViralVideo #ViralInnovation #InspiringStories #SuccessStory #NeverGiveUp #Determination #Creativity #ProblemSolving #ForeignExchange #ExportNigeria #EconomicDevelopment #TechnologyInvestment #StartupNigeria #TechEntrepreneurship #DDMExclusive #DDMGlobalNews #AfricanTechnology #YouTubeNigeria #NigerianYouTuber #TrendingInNigeria
