Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has publicly accused social media influencer Ashmusy of interfering with a lucrative celebrity boxing opportunity she had helped secure.
The dispute reportedly centres on a proposed celebrity boxing event that could have earned more than ₦200 million, according to Phyna’s account of the situation.
Phyna explained that organisers had initially approached her in February about participating in a celebrity boxing match against an opponent from Ghana. However, the proposed opponent later withdrew from the arrangement.
According to Phyna, she subsequently recommended Ashmusy as a possible replacement and personally connected the influencer with the organisers.
The situation allegedly changed after the introduction, with Phyna claiming that Ashmusy asked the organisers to consider replacing her with someone else whom she believed would be a better option.
Phyna viewed the development as a betrayal, particularly because she said she was the person who brought the opportunity to Ashmusy in the first place.
In a social media outburst, the reality TV star accused Ashmusy of working against her and expressed her frustration over what she considered a major financial opportunity.
Phyna’s comments quickly attracted attention online, with social media users debating the circumstances surrounding the disagreement and questioning whether the situation could have been handled privately.
Ashmusy, however, has rejected the accusation that she deliberately sabotaged Phyna’s opportunity.
