The mobile police officer, who was kidnapped around Kampani community in Bashar District of Wase local government area of Plateau State by suspected bandits, has been found dead.
Until his death, he was part of a security team fighting bandits in the area when he was ambushed and taken away by the criminal elements.
The lifeless body of the officer was reportedly found in the bush at Bangalala on Sunday.
Police authorities in Benue state are yet to issue a statement in respect rot the development
