A video showing a heated exchange between a Nigerian police officer and a truck driver during an apparent search of a Coca-Cola truck has sparked reactions online.
In the footage, the police officer is heard questioning the driver over why he was recording while officers searched his vehicle.
“Why you dey video me?” the officer asks. “I’m searching your truck and you’re recording me.”
The driver responds that he has a right to record the encounter, explaining that he does not know what the officer may have in his pocket and reminding him that the vehicle is a Coca-Cola truck.
“Yes, I have every right to record you because I don’t know what you have in your pocket. I already told you this is a Coca-Cola truck,” the driver says.
