Chief Edwin Clark, Elder statesman and national leader of PANDEF, has urged President Bola Tinubu to immediately call Barrister Nysom Wike to order over the political face-off in Rivers State.
Clark made the call at his Abuja home on Monday, following alleged plot by the FCT Minister to remove Mr Fubara as the governor of the Rivers State.
While describing the current political tension in Rivers State as sad, Clark, also asked the President to call to order all the security agencies being used against Mr Fubara.
He said the governor was threatened by security operatives during his visit to the State House of Assembly complex on Monday after an explosion on Sunday night that ripped through the Assembly complex.
Clark however, noted that if the crisis is allowed to fester, it will definitely puncture the country’s economy.
