Mohamed Salah has received the Premier League Player of the Month award for a record-equalling seventh time.

The Liverpool forward was voted as the winner of the February edition of the accolade having delivered a remarkable 10 goal contributions to his team’s ongoing push for the title.

Salah scored six times for the Reds, including a match-clinching double away at AFC Bournemouth and the opener in a 2-0 victory against Manchester City, and also set up a teammate on four occasions in the top flight.

He saw off competition from Beto, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Yankuba Minteh, Djed Spence and fellow Liverpool man Dominik Szoboszlai.

In winning the award for last month, Salah has moved level with Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane as its most frequent recipients, having previously been tied on six with Steven Gerrard and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Egyptian also claimed the prize in November 2017, February 2018, March 2018, October 2021, October 2023 and November 2024.
