Sexual assault: Nigerian dancer Poco Lee to face UK court September 15

Snaresbrook Crown Court in the United Kingdom has confirmed that Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Mr. Iweh Pascal Odinaka, aka, Poco Lee, will appear before the court for plea and trial preparation on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

This medium understand that Poco Lee is facing charges and is expected to appear in court to enter his plea, indicating whether he is guilty or not guilty.

James Baker, the court’s administrative team lead, said Poco Lee’s matter is officially listed before the court and will be heard in one of its 20 courtrooms.

According to the court, the dancer faces five charges: attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.

“I can confirm that this case is currently listed at Snaresbrook Crown Court for plea and trial preparation on the 15th September 2026,” Baker said.

Though, the court noted that the charges remain allegations and that Poco Lee is presumed innocent unless and until he is tried and found guilty by the court.

Meanwhile, the confirmation comes days after reports emerged online alleging that the dancer had been arrested in the UK.

The reports have since drawn reactions from some of his colleagues and associates in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

On Monday, filmmaker TG Omori and dancer Rahman Jago reacted to the development.

Omori, in an emotional post, expressed concern over Poco Lee’s situation, describing him as one of the “purest souls” he had encountered.

“It breaks my heart to hear Poco Lee in this sort of mess. That’s the purest soul I have ever met. The devil really works overtime,” he wrote.
