Our pipo need leadership, posterity go judge us – Shettima

Vice President Kashim Shettima paid a private visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari, who is undergoing medical treatment in a London hospital.

Shettima flew to London and visited Buhari, who was initially admitted to intensive care but has since stabilized and is making steady progress in his recovery.

The Vice President’s office confirmed the visit but emphasized its private nature, with Senior Special Assistant Stanley Nkwocha stating, “The Vice President did actually travel to London, but that it was a totally private visit.”

The former President’s health had raised concerns, with reports suggesting a turn for the worse, but Garba Shehu confirmed that Buhari is in a recovery mode.

Earlier in the week, reports had emerged suggesting Buhari’s health had taken a turn for the worse, triggering speculation about the severity of his condition

Buhari has had several health scares during and after his presidency, including a prolonged stay in London in 2017 for an undisclosed illness.

The visit by Vice President Shettima serves as a confirmation of Buhari’s ongoing recovery and highlights the concern for his health among Nigerian leaders.
