SHOCKING: Iran’s ‘Black Widow’ Confesses to Killing 11 Husbands in 22 Years

IRAN BLACK WIDOW.

A chilling murder case has gripped Iran after a 56-year-old woman, Kulthum Akbari, confessed to killing 11 elderly husbands over a span of 22 years in what prosecutors describe as a calculated and methodical campaign for financial gain.

Akbari, now dubbed Iran’s Black Widow, allegedly began her killing spree in the year 2000.

According to court documents, she specifically targeted elderly men, married them, and slowly poisoned them over time.

Prosecutors say she used a mix of diabetes medications, stimulants, and in some cases, industrial alcohol to carry out the murders.

“Most of the victims appeared to have died from natural causes due to their age and chronic illnesses,” a prosecutor told the court.

“This allowed the defendant to continue her crimes undetected for more than two decades.”

How the Murders Came to Light

Her final victim, 2023’s Azizollah Babaei, died under circumstances that initially seemed natural.

However, Babaei’s son grew suspicious and alerted authorities.

The subsequent police investigation uncovered a disturbing pattern in Akbari’s past, linking her to 10 other suspicious deaths.

Investigators revealed that Akbari meticulously monitored her victims’ health, waiting for the precise moment when their deaths would appear natural, ensuring she avoided suspicion.

Charges and Public Reaction

Akbari now faces 11 counts of premeditated murder and one count of attempted murder after allegedly failing to kill another victim.

The case has drawn more than 45 plaintiffs, including relatives of the deceased, who have publicly demanded the death penalty.

Iranian media have reported intense public outrage over the case, with many calling it one of the most disturbing examples of serial killings in the country’s history.

The trial has attracted both national and international attention, with a verdict expected once the remaining hearings are completed.

Separate Case in Zambia

In another shocking incident, Zambian police have arrested a woman, Mwila Kasase, and her two sons for allegedly killing her husband, Alex Kanyama, following a domestic dispute.

Witnesses say the conflict began when Kasase was forced to use public transport after her husband drove away with the family car.

In anger, she allegedly convinced her 20-year-old and 18-year-old sons to join her in beating Kanyama to death.

In a bizarre twist, Kasase later posted a heartfelt tribute to her husband on social media, claiming she was heartbroken by his death only to be arrested shortly afterwards.

Both cases have reignited debates about domestic violence, manipulation, and the disturbing ways in which trust within intimate relationships can be exploited.
