(DDM) – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has strongly condemned the recent bomb blast in Zamfara State that claimed the lives of seven people.
DDM gathered that the explosion occurred along the Magami–Dansadau highway, where an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated, causing multiple casualties and significant fear among commuters.
Abbas described the attack as cowardly and unacceptable, emphasizing that such acts of violence undermine national peace and stability.
The Speaker called on security agencies to intensify patrols and surveillance along vulnerable routes to prevent future attacks and protect innocent citizens.
He further urged the Federal Government to continue investing in intelligence-led operations to dismantle terrorist networks responsible for orchestrating attacks across the country.
