The State Security Service [SSS], on Monday, appeared in three (3) cars to the house of the younger sister of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, Hajiya Maimuna.

Apprehension immediately filled the air as their mission was as sudden as it was uncalled for until they explained their mission.

Our correspondent, Mr. Stephen Lawan, an adept follower of Zakzaky reported that they wanted to take them to see the Sheikh.

That sounded bizarre since for more than two months, the army have kept him incommunicado, not allowing any close family member of Sheikh Zakzaky to see him.

Hence it did not come as surprise when Hajiya Maimuna refused to go with them as she suspected foul play from the unsolicited gesture.

The apprehensive woman immediately raised alarm which prompted the soldiers to withdraw.

It could be recalled that the army shot Zakzaky six (6) times and shot his wife twice.

Also to be recalled is that this same regime killed 1000+ defenseless & unarmed members of Islamic Movement of Nigeria in Zaria including three (3) biological Sons of Sheikh Zakzaky.

It consequently came as a great surprise why are the army suddenly became so benevolent and desperate to take his family members to see him.

Even more daunting is the fact Zakzaky’s lawyers had written several times to the Nigerian regime to allow them access to him but the regime have refused.
