Content creator Supa-Ray has taken a swipe at Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, amid the long-running fallout between the former Psquare brothers.
Supa-Ray accused Mr P of being hypocritical, arguing that while he has previously indicated that he no longer wants to have anything to do with Psquare, the name remains attached to his social media identity.
“You claim you don’t want to have anything to do with Psquare anymore, but all your social media handles still have Psquare attached to them. You’re even calling yourself Mr Psquare,” Supa-Ray said.
The content creator contrasted Mr P with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, claiming that Paul has established a separate identity outside the Psquare brand.
“Your brother, Rudeboy, on the other hand, has built a name for himself outside Psquare. We know him as Rudeboy,” he added.
Supa-Ray went further by challenging Peter to completely remove Psquare from his name and see how it would affect his public identity.
“I dare you to remove Psquare from your name and you will see that you become nothing,” he said.
The remarks have added another layer to the public conversation surrounding the brothers, whose professional relationship has remained strained despite their history as one of Africa’s most successful music duos.
Peter and Paul Okoye have both pursued solo careers under the names Mr P and Rudeboy respectively since their split, while their disagreements have occasionally played out publicly on social media.
