The Supreme Court has ordered that Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu should be retried for tax fraud at the Federal High Court.
The Supreme Court of the federation has ordered that Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu [above] should be retried for tax fraud at the Federal High Court.
The appellants, Obasi Uba Ekagbara and Chukwuemeka Mbah had challenged the decision of the High Court and asked the Supreme Court to rescind the earlier decision.
The decision which was presided over by a five-man panel of the Supreme Court was delivered by Justice Suleiman Galadima, JSC.
