Supreme Court to rule on Ebonyi PDP guber candidate dispute

The Supreme Court on Wednesday will deliver judgment on the dispute over the legitimate standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ebonyi state.

The court is set to sit at exactly 3pm to decide between Senator Joseph Obinna Ogba and Chukwuma Odii Ifeanyi on who will be the legitimate candidate of PDP in 2023 elections.

In the appeal marked: SC/CV/939/2022 file by Chukwuma Ifeanyi, the panel of five justices led by Justice Amina Augie, announced that the judgment will be delivered by 3 pm after entertaining final submissions from parties’ lawyers.
