Suspension of Shehu Sani Cannot Stand – Ward Chairman
*Writes National Secretariat of the Party
“Upon the said suspension, we held a meeting with the Exco… and unanimously denounced and discountenanced the content of the letter of Sen. Shehu Sani.” – Chairman
Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Tudun Wada, (ward 6) Kaduna State, Abbas Muhammed Anni has protested the suspension of Senator Shehu Sani [above] describing the suspension as illegal, therefore cannot stand.
It could be recalled that the state executive of the party last week announced the suspension of Senator Shehu over an alleged anti-party activities by criticising programmes and policies of Kaduna state government.
But, briefing newsmen after presenting the letter to the National secretariat of the APC in Abuja, the chairman said Senator Sani remains true party member and reiterated unalloyed support for him.
The letter reads,” upon the said suspension, we held a meeting with the Exco 28/12/2015 and unanimously denounced and discountenanced the content of the letter of Sen. Shehu Sani.
“Hence, the letter of the suspension is a blunt liar which we are not maker of the purported document.
“However, the signatures were forged and fraudulently affixed against the party officials.
“It’s regrettable and lamentable that, we were portrayed. We suspended Sen. Shehu Sani for Eleven (11) months from ward.
“We therefore, reiterate for unalloyed support for Sen. Shehu Sani. Devoid of trying be misguided wrongly from certain quarters.”
He also alleged that the Special Adviser to the governor on investment induced some of the executives of Shehu Sani’s ward with N500,000 to effect the suspension.
In his words,” the conception and ideas of the said purported document was mustered and orchestrated by the special Adviser to the governor on investment, who summoned for a meeting with some of my executives and induce them with N500,000 naira to effect the suspension of Senator Shehu Sani which they rejected.”
