Dr Yunusa Tanko, an aide to Labour Party presidential candidate in the last election, Mr Peter Obi has been appointed as the new interim national coordinator of the Obidient Movement.
The Obidient Movement which was born out of necessity during the last election, has been gaining momentum with many young Nigerians rallying behind Peter Obi’s ideology of frugality and accountability.
Meanwhile, Tanko’s appointment was announced during citizens’ engagement space with Peter Obi on Monday.
Dr Tanko Yunusa, the chief spokesman for the Obi-Datti organisation, has been vocal about the movement’s significance, stating that it’s larger than the Labour Party itself.
