Mrs Aisha Yesufu, a member of the Labour Party presidential campaign council, has said she would never recognise President Bola Tinubu as her president, despite the affirmation of his victory by the Supreme Court.
The apex court on Thursday struck out all the appeals of the presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and that of the Labour Party which challenged Mr Tinubu’s victory at the polls.
The seven-man panel of the court, headed by Justice John Okoro, said the petition filed by the opposition parties lacks merit.
While reacting to the verdict on her official X handle, Mrs Yesufu, who is the co-convener of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, said: “Let me repeat, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not my President.”
