Following the coordinated attacks carried out between December 24 and 25 by suspected bandits which resulted to the death of 113 civilians in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi local government areas of the State, President Bola Tinubu has ordered security agencies to swiftly move in and secure every stretch of the zone and apprehend the culprits.
He gave the order in a statement issued on Tuesday, December 26, by his spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.
President Tinubu who also condemned the unfortunate attack, ordered immediate mobilization of relief resources for surviving victims of the attacks as well as medical treatment for the wounded.
While condoling with the government and the people of Plateau State, he assured Nigerians that these envoys of death, pain, and sorrow will not escape justice.
