The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Plateau State has affirmed the election of Fom Dalyop Chollom of the Labour Party (LP) as the winner of the legislative election held on February 25, 2023.
Further, the Tribunal sacked the presumed winner, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and ordered him to vacate the seat with immediate effect.
The court also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue Certificate of Return to LP’s Chollom.
