Trump/Vance vs Harris/Walz: competing visions for America’s future

As we approach this defining election, the American people face a clear choice between two vastly different paths. President Donald Trump’s platform represents the values that have long underpinned America’s success: freedom, economic stability, personal responsibility, and respect for traditional values.

By contrast, the policies under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris push for divisive ideologies, restricted freedoms, and governmental overreach, all of which threaten the foundation of our nation.

Here is a synthesis of President Trump’s achievements, policy stance, and vision for America, contrasted with the current administration, to demonstrate why Trump’s policies offer a brighter future, freedom, and a more prosperous future for all Americans.

The Trump government averted costly foreign wars and prioritized peace. Unlike many previous administrations, President Trump kept America out of new foreign conflicts, demonstrating peace through strength, yet was open to dialogue and diplomatic solutions.

He strengthened the U.S. position through military strength rather than intervention. His administration brokered historic peace agreements, fostering unprecedented relations between Israel and Arab nations.

By contrast, the Biden-Harris administration is defined by sporadic wars, leading to renewed global instability, exemplified by the U.S.’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and Wars in the Middle East, which cost lives and damaged America’s reputation.

Under Trump, America enjoyed robust economic prosperity and low inflation; unemployment reached record lows for all demographics, and the economy grew consistently due to tax cuts, deregulation, and a business-friendly environment.

Trump’s Tax Cuts and Job Act reduced the corporate tax rate and put more money in Americans’ pockets, spurring economic growth and job creation.

During President Trump’s four years in office, wages rose consistently, and inflation remained stable, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI)increasing only 7.8%, reflecting a period of low inflation.

This control over inflation supported economic stability for American households, allowing wages to retain their purchasing power. By contrast, inflation has surged significantly under the Biden administration, driven by factors such as supply chain disruptions, which have raised costs across essential goods and services.

Also, Mortgage rates, for example, were at a historic low under Trump (2.75%), but today they exceed 7.5%, making homeownership and living costs unbearable for many Americans.

Under President Trump, gas was affordable, and America was energy independent for the first time in decades, keeping gas prices under $2 per gallon. This independence bolstered national security, reduced reliance on foreign oil, and saved Americans money at the pump.

In stark contrast, the Biden-Harris administration’s restrictions on domestic energy production have driven gas prices up to nearly $4 per gallon. These policies have burdened American families, small businesses, and industries reliant on affordable energy.

During Trump’s presidency, traditional values were respected and protected; gender was recognized biologically, and male athletes were prohibited from competing in women’s sports.

Parents retained the right to make decisions for their children’s education and healthcare without governmental interference, and Trump upheld the sanctity of life, fighting against policies that would allow abortion up to and even after birth.

Biological males play in women’s sports. Men are now permitted to compete in women’s sports, undermining decades of progress in women’s rights.

Parental rights have been undermined in the Biden-Harris administration as it implements and supports policies that encourage children to undergo gender transition procedures at the cost of American taxpayers and, worst still, against their parents’ will.

Trump consistently defended the First Amendment, protecting both religious liberties and free speech in all public spaces. His administration took action to prevent Big Tech from censoring conservative voices and shielded religious organizations from mandates that conflicted with their beliefs.

Conversely, the Biden-Harris administration has overseen increasing censorship across media platforms, targeting speech that contradicts left-leaning ideologies. This censorship undermines one of America’s most fundamental values: the right to express oneself freely.

President Trump administration was known to promote Pro-Life and the sanctity of marriage policies which led to significant advancements for the unborn, including Supreme Court appointments that paved the way to overturn Roe v. Wade.

His administration protected religious organizations from being forced to act against their beliefs on life and marriage. Under Biden-Harris, however, abortion policies have extended to the extreme, allowing abortions up to and in some cases after birth.

These policies disregard the sanctity of life and represent a significant moral departure from biblical principles and the values that have shaped American society.

Trump’s administration defended Israel, and historic advancements in Middle East peace, most notably through the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and several Arab nations. This initiative solidified America’s support for Israel and fostered stability in a volatile region.

In contrast, many within the Democratic party have shifted away from supporting Israel, with some members even voicing antisemitic rhetoric. This change endangers America’s longstanding alliance with Israel, a key democratic partner in the Middle East.

Trump’s administration prioritized secure borders and legal immigration, implementing policies that reduced illegal immigration and ensured a lawful process. Biden and Harris’s lax border policies have led to a surge in illegal crossings, creating security risks and overwhelming border communities.

Unchecked immigration affects resources, national security, and public health, with recent reports showing increased illegal crossings by unvetted individuals from numerous countries.

President opposed globalists policies but defended American national sovereignty. He championed American First Policies, resisting the pressures of lobbyists’ globalists that threatened national sovereignty and the security of American citizens.

He withdrew from international agreements that disadvantaged American workers and kept the U.S. out of one-sided global accords, ensuring that America retained control over its resources, borders, and laws.

By contrast, the Biden-Harris administration has moved closer to globalist ideals, from rejoining the Paris Climate Accord to engaging in treaties threatening national autonomy. These policies reduce American self-sufficiency and independence, making the nation vulnerable to external influence.

Trump’s policies created unprecedented economic opportunities economic opportunities for Black Americans and other minority communities. Initiatives like Opportunity Zones channeled billions of dollars into underserved communities, fostering job creation and economic growth in areas that need it most.

In contrast, Democratic policies, especially those promoting high taxation and heavy regulation, make it harder for businesses to thrive, thereby limiting job opportunities and perpetuating cycles of dependency in vulnerable communities.

A Call to Action: Protecting America’s Future of Faith, Freedom, and Family

As we approach this pivotal election, the choice for America’s future is clear. The nation stands at a crossroads, faced with two contrasting visions: one that upholds freedom, personal responsibility, and traditional values, and another that embraces radical policies and globalist agendas.

President Donald Trump’s platform, backed by the Republican vision of faith, freedom, and the American dream, offers a pathway to preserve values foundational to this country. His policies protect the sanctity of life, strengthen family, secure economic prosperity, and restore individual liberty.

Now is the time to vote with conviction and ensure that America remains a land of opportunity, faith, and freedom for all.
