Turkish MP Suffers Heart Attack Right After Cursing Israel (Video)



The representative of Turkey’s Saadat Party suffered a heart attack and fell to the ground while giving a speech today.

Hasan Bitmez, a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey – Kocaeli province, while speaking in the open session, suddenly fell to the ground and was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Bitmez had just finished cursing out Israel, stating that “Israel will be smitten with the anger of Allah.”

As he finished saying those words, he collapsed to the ground.

The 53-year-old parliamentarian, fell backward as he was wrapping up the speech during the General Assembly of Parliament, in a moment captured by the cameras of Parliament’s live broadcast session.

Lawmakers rushed to his aid, while those with medical backgrounds applied first aid to Bitmez. He was later taken to the hospital. Authorities said he was in a critical condition.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a social media post that Bitmez was taken to the intensive care unit of Bilkent City Hospital.
