A Federal High Court in Abuja has sacked the Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu.
The court ordered the governor to vacate office immediately.
Governor Ikpeazu was accused of submitting false information to his party, the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] for the party’s governorship primary in December 2014.
The Court, likewise, orders the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] to issue Certificate of Return to Samson Orga as Abia’s duly elected governor.
Mr. Orga was the runner-up in the Abia State Peoples Democratic party [PDP] gubernatorial primaries held in in 2015.
