UPDATE: Soldiers reportedly barricade Fashola’s Abuja residence

Soldiers of the Nigerian Army have reportedly barricaded the entrance to the residence of one of President Tinubu’s henchmen, former Transportation Minister Babatunde Raji Fashola, in Abuja.

A Twitter user, Bishop (LP), @BishopPOEvang, broke the news on his twitter handle on Saturday. He tweeted:

“Nigerian soldiers has barricaded the entrance to Babatunde Raji Fashola in Abuja… Visitors are not allowed in or out of his residence. According to the report, visitors are not allowed in or out of his residence.”

The report comes barely minutes after News Band reported a grand plot by the Tinubu-led All Progressives Congress (APC) to compromise the judges sitting in the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), herein referred to as the Tribunal.

According to Mr. Hundeyi, four APC stalwarts assigned with the task of compromising the Tribunal include Fashola, Ibrahim Masari, the Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs to Tinubu, the Director General of the Department of State Security (DSS), Mr. Yusuf Bichi, and Mr. Nyesom Wike, a ministerial nominee and immediate past governor of Rivers State.

Presently, speculations are rife as to the motive behind the barricade.

While some suggest it may be house arrest, other believe it’s a ruse to distract watchful Nigerians from the antics of the ruling party.

In the meantime, another Twitter-based whistleblower, @PIDOMNIGERIA reported another shocking revelation respecting the ongoing presidential election tribunal.

According to @PIDOMNIGERIA, the judges were urged to declare Tinubu winner following which the Presidency will announce dusk to dawn curfew for a whole week.
