Vice President Osinbajo To Represent Nigeria At Follow-Up Meeting On Burkina Faso

osibanjoPress Release – As a follow-up to yesterday’s Extra-ordinary session of ECOWAS leaders in Abuja regarding the situation in Burkina Faso, a select group of West African leaders would be meeting today in Quagadougou.

President Muhammadu Buhari who hosted the Abuja summit would be represented at the meeting by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN. In all, six ECOWAS leaders would be attending the meeting later today with the leaders of last Thursday’s military coup in Burkina Faso.

The Vice President is expected back to Abuja later today.
