Victory parade in top gear for Europa League winners, Tottenham

The night of Thursday, May 21, 2025, saw the curtains of the Europa League for the 2024/25 season, drawn to a close, and Tottenham broke its 17-year trophy drought by defeating Manchester United 1-0 in Bilbao.
The goal scored by Brennan Johnson, inside the 42nd minute of the game proved decisive, as the Postecoglou-led team brought joy to the hearts of travelling supporters.
The club management on her part, is gearing up for a victory parade for the team.
In an announcement via its social media handle, the club announced plans for an open-top bus victory parade on Friday, May 23.
The club stated that it had made necessary consultations with councils, emergency services and transport partners to make the parade enjoyable for all.
According to this announcement, the parade is expected to depart Edmonton Green at 5.30pm local time folloing the route below:
- The Broadway/Fore Street (Southbound)
- High Road (Southbound) past the stadium
- Lansdowne Road (Eastbound)
- Willoughby Lane (Northbound)
- Northumberland Park (Westbound)
According to the management of Tottenham, the parade is expected to last between 60-90 minutes, and round off in the stadium’s service yard adjacent to Saintsbury’s on Northumberland Park.
It further disclosed that a staging area will be erected above the High Road outside the stadium on Paxton terrace to receive the team.
There, the trophy will be presented to fans shortly after the bus parade is concluded.
They assure fans of musical entertainment from a DJ, with live Q&As from 3pm local time.
In the announcement, fans were encouraged to spread out along the parade route.
According to the club management, fans can watch a livestream of the staged event on the Club’s official website, app and YouTube channel.
A number of screens will also be positioned at intervals along the route, the announcement stated.
Fans through the announcement were encouraged not to drive to the event.
This is as Local authorities will be implementing a phased closure on a number of roads impacted by the Parade route from 11am, for safety reasons.

It further stated that its full event-day Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) will be in operation as on matchday, with additional parking bay suspensions across the Parade route and connecting streets.
The management reassured re-opening of the roads as soon as the event ends.
FOR TRAINS
According to this announcement, fans have been asked to use alternative stations and walk to preferred spot on the parade route.
This is because the White Hart Lane station is expected to be busy.
Fans have been told to expect lengthy queues at all stations after the event and thus seek their cooperation and patience.
It advised attendees to follow @SpursStadium on X or sign up to the club’s Spurs matchday Info channel on whatsapp while also paying close attention to digital signage and PA announcements.
FOR BUSES
It announced that there will be diversion of all local buses from 12pm local time, other than on the High Road between Lansdowne Road and White Hart Lane.
These will be on diversion from 11am local time.
However, buses will resume their normal service as roads begin to open after the event.
Shuttle buses and Regional coach services will not be in operation for this event, the announcement added.
CYCLING
Cyclists are advised to park at least 200m away from the parade route, and walk to preferred location.
They are not allowed to bring their bikes into the parade routes.
