Another “evidence” has emerged that the self-styled Biafran freedom fighter, Simon Ekpa, is actually working for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to disenfranchise the South East in the upcoming 2023 general election.
News Band had, on December 23, 2022, published a report by members the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) alleging palpable “evidence” that Ekpa may be working for Alhaji Tinubu in the February 25 presidential election.
An IPOB member said that the “terrorist Simon Ekpa was paid N50 billion to destabilise South East against Peter Obi”, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate.
Meanwhile, the first note of “evidence” struck on July 20, 2022, when Simon Ekpa raised alarm that a presidential candidate, Omoyele “Yele” Sowore, of the African Action Congress (AAC), is “planning to assassinate Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
Taking to his Twitter handle, @simon_ekpa, Ekpa wrote:
“We are reliably informed that Sowore of @SaharaReporters planning to assassinate Bola Ahmed Tinubu. According to our intel, He has raised number of gunmen & they are monitoring Tinubu. The reason why Sowore of @SaharaReporters is doing this is not known. Remember that Sowore is facing criminal charges and treason.”
A political observer wondered what Ekpa’s interest is in the said allegation except if he shares a common interest with Tinubu.

“Evidence” emerges that Simon Ekpa is working for Tinubu “to disenfranchise South East in 2023”
The latest “evidence” was derived from a video documentary showing one of Simon Ekpa’s ardent disciples, Nsima Nseobong, campaigning for the APC presidential candidate on his Twitter handle, @nsimaofficial.
Nseobong, it was noted, was one of the those shouting “NO ELECTION IN BIAFRALAND” on several tweets and videos.
To the chagrin of observers, however, he appeared in a recent video documentary campaigning for Tinubu in the same election he said will not hold.
